Trail's End To Go at Disney's Fort Wilderness Campround Becomes "P & J's Southern Takeout" to Honor Longtime Cast Members; Menu Expands
This is our favorite time of year at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort as the campground gets ready for Halloween! Our article on Fort Wilderness Halloween decorations is here, but while we were there, we stopped by what used to be called Trail's End to Go and found that the name has very recently changed to P & J's Southern Takeout (honoring two longtime Cast Members). The menu has changed some as well, and recently strawberry shortcake was also added.

Review: BOATHOUSE at Downtown Disney Opens With Expansive Views, Upscale Food at Future Disney Springs
In March, we shared an interview with The BOATHOUSE founder Steven Schussler, who has opened several restaurant concepts at Walt Disney World: Rainforest Cafe, T-Rex Cafe and Yak & Yeti. This week, his latest restaurant concept opened at Downtown Disney (soon to be Disney Springs). Unlike the other restaurants I mentioned, The BOATHOUSE is not a Landry's restaurant - it is managed by Gibsons Restaurant Group out of Chicago, which is highly regarded for its steak and seafood. There is a chain of Landry's restaurants in Canada called The Boathouse, but this is not related in any way. The BOATHOUSE at Downtown Disney is one-of-a-kind. Menus are printed daily depending on what has been caught, and there are a lot of options - more menu choices than just about anywhere at Walt Disney World.
Today we are sharing an update photo walk of Disney's Port Orleans Riverside Resort on 3 pages. Last week we posted a photo walk of Disney's Port Orleans French Quarter Resort, and we are starting where that walk left off. Disney's Port Orleans Riverside Resort was one of the most requested resorts from guests when I was a Disney Authorized Vacation Planner, in large part due to the rooms in Alligator Bayou that sleep 5. Now, Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort also offers rooms for 5, allowing more families to be able to sleep in one room. Disney's Port Orleans Riverside has 2048 rooms, about double that of Disney's Port Orleans French Quarter. It was originally called Dixie Landings, the name changed in 2001 (I can't believe it has been almost 15 years since then!)
Review: Good Morning Breakfast with Goofy & His Pals at Four Seasons Resort Orlando is a Fun Way to Begin Day
Ravello at the Four Seasons Resort Orlando is the setting for a new character breakfast, "Good Morning Breakfast with Goofy & his Pals". It runs on Thursday and Saturday most weeks, and there is a third breakfast during busy times like summer and the holidays.
