Disney’s Yacht Club Resort Holiday Train Display 2017 Photos

Hi everyone!

Disney’s Yacht Club holiday train display went up a little over a week ago, at about the same time as Disney’s Beach Club Carousel. I think I missed photographing it last year, the display may have gone up a little later than usual. This year we’ve shared Disney’s Grand Floridian Gingerbread House, Disney’s Contemporary Resort Gingerbread Cinderella Castle, and Disney’s Beach Club Lilo & Stitch themed Carousel – and there will be much more coming. Here is a look at the train display, the train wasn’t running at the time we were there.

The Frozen Department 56 pieces are among the newer items here.

Elsa is with Anna and Oaken in this photo.

Olaf is nearby.

Wandering Oaken’s Trading Post.

Kristoff and Sven.

One of the longtime aspects of Disney’s Yacht Club Train Set is that there are names of the shops and restaurants of the resort tied in. Here, Beaches and Cream is noted.

Mickey helps build a snowman.

Mickey’s village, including the longtime Mickey’s Ears Factory – these are favorite pieces of mine in the display, along with Mickey’s Water Tower.

Mater is here, as are Mrs. Claus, and it looks like Rudolph and Clarice.

Mickey and three snowmen (called The Three Mouseketeers) wearing Mickey ears, with Pluto and Tinker Bell.

Tinker Bell is always nearby this house, along with the Fairy Dust bag.

Hidden Mickeys are on chairs here, and a sign mentions the Atlantic Emporium.

Ship Shape is on a sign here, the fitness center of Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts.

Dumbo can be seen here, I don’t remember this piece previously. The lit gumdrops I think were new a few years back.

Cape May Cafe is on a sign.

Two elf houses.

Rip Tide Lounge sign.

Here is a look from this angle of the display.

One side of the display has a lot of Disney theming and whimsical Christmas pieces. This side is a seaside village that is decorated for the holidays, but isn’t themed to Disney.

Gondolas travel up and down.

Another look at this corner.

There are a lot of details, including a sign about Garnet Pearls and someone painting.

This is a huge train display.

Captain’s Grille is noted on this sign.

The Yachtsman Steakhouse here.

At this home, kids build a snowman and the driveaway is being plowed.

This is the right hand side of the display while looking at the village.

Crew’s Cup sign.

Crab Shack building.

Union Oyster House sign with oysters being shucked.

From the other side of the long display, a look at a bridge and more.

This is the last photo I am sharing of the display, and includes another mention of Ship Shape.

And one of my favorite Christmas trees are here. The ornaments are nautical.

A look at a boat in the tree.

Poinsettias can be found on the way back outside.

We will be heading to see more displays on Tuesday, November 28th, 2017! We always enjoy sharing the best of the holidays from Walt Disney World.
