Car Masters Returning to Downtown Disney: Visit the Custom Griswold Family Truckster and Over 100 Cars

Car Masters Weekend arrives to Downtown Disney for the fourth year from June 14th – 15th. We missed the last two years due to being out of town, but an injury has us sticking around in Orlando during Father’s Day weekend. We are looking forward to covering the event again this year! And our travel agent sponsor Pixie Vacations is revving up their Griswold Truckster for public viewing.

Car Masters Weekend takes place on June 14th and 15th, 2014, from 9:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m each day. Chip Foose will be part of the event, as will Pixar filmmaker Jay Ward. Characters from the film Cars will be available to meet, and Lightning McQueen and Tow Mater topiaries have already been set up at Downtown Disney! Parking will be very tight during this event with all the construction at Downtown Disney. I would encourage anyone staying at a Walt Disney World resort to get a bus (or boat, if applicable) from their resort.

Mater and Lightning McQueen topiaries can be found on the West End near Cirque du Soleil.

Disney should have even more information out soon about Car Masters Weekend as it draws closer! The Richard Petty Driving Experience is also rolling out it’s new Junior Ride-A-Long Cars, Piston Cup Racers Aiken Axler & Save VanDerSpin. These were created by Jay Ward!
