Geyser Point Bar & Grill Open at Disney's Wilderness Lodge: Photos & Video (Including Food & Drinks)

Hi everyone!

Geyser Point Bar & Grill opened on February 13th at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. We were there on opening day, which also was the day that Roaring Fork closed for refurbishment through maybe sometime this summer. Disney's Wilderness Lodge has been one of my favorite resorts since it opened in 1994. It didn't take long after that for a DVC addition to be added (The Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge), now renamed Boulder Ridge Villas. New additions to the resort will include the Copper Creek Villas & Cabins, and Geyser Point Bar & Grill services that area.

Review: 'Ohana Best Friends Breakfast featuring Lilo & Stitch at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort

Hi everyone!

Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is the setting for the Best Friends Breakfast featuring Lilo & Stitch at 'Ohana. We booked the breakfast for yesterday since we'd never been. This is our review of the experience, and we will be discussing it on Mousesteps Weekly #216. I've been to 'Ohana many times in the past for dinner, it used to be a favorite of mine - and it was nice to try something new to us. Jeff and I have both been visiting Disney's Polynesian Village Resort for 40+ years, it's surprising the breakfast has escaped us this far. You do want to book this before your trip.

'Ohana is the official name of the restaurant, call it "Ohana's" on social media and you'll likely be corrected. But our server even added the "s" at the end, so it's easy to see where there can be confusion. 'Ohana only offers characters at breakfast, dinner is not a character meal.

The sign outside the breakast says "Best Friend Character Breakfast", but online it adds the "s" at the end of "Friend".

PB&G and Plancha at Four Seasons Resort Orlando Debut New Lunch Items

Hi everyone!

Last week, we were invited to try some new menu items that are being served at both PB&G and Plancha at the Four Seasons Resort Orlando. We've posted reviews of both restaurants previously, and PB&G has changed its chef and menu significantly since then. It has moved from a barbecue menu that, while delicious, was heavier for an outdoor pool setting than the new menu that has been evolving this year. There are standard items like burgers and a turkey club, but also unique entrees such as an Andouille Sausage Hoagie and Gyro Style Lamb. Here is a look at some of the newest items at both restaurants!

The setting for our tasting was at PB&G, which is near the pools at Four Seasons Resort Orlando (the name stands for Pool Bar & Grill). It is a gorgeous setting for a meal. Plancha is over at the Tranquilo Golf Club, no less a quiet and peaceful location. The Tranquilo Golf Club has no parking fees, so no validation is needed (the Four Seasons Resort Orlando is otherwise a valet parking location).

Ravello at Four Seasons Resort Orlando: Magical Dining Month 2016 Review (Through October 2nd, 2016)

Hi everyone!

We were invited to the Four Seasons Resort Orlando to try out the Magical Dining Month menu at Ravello. Magical Dining Month is a yearly event where guests can order off a three course menu at various Orlando area restaurants for $33.00, and it runs this year from August 29th - October 2nd, 2016.

Ravello is my personal favorite restaurant at the Four Seasons Orlando, though we've had fantastic meals at all of them. The restaurant is more casual than the fine dining Capa location upstairs, but you can still order an exquisite steak in addition to pasta, seafood, lamb chops and more off the regular (non-Magical Dining Month) menu. We've been invited many times to the resort to review restaurants, but we also dine here on our own. Visiting the resort even for a few hours is like a mini-vacation for me, the service and atmosphere are impeccable. The Four Seasons is the only Five Diamond resort in the area.

The menu we received for Magical Dining Month is a little different than the one found online. We tried a couple of other items that are not included with the three courses, though they can be ordered separately. However, the amount of food on the regular menu is enough if that is all you are looking for. My chicken dish (which I'll talk about) was brought home and I enjoyed it for two more meals.

The Tomato E Mozzarella Focaccia is not part of the three courses, but is an additional $5.00. Personally, I'd add this to a dinner since it was delicious and filling.

AbracadaBar Opens on the Walt Disney World BoardWalk: Photos & Video of Newest Themed Bar at WDW

Hi everyone!

The AbracadaBar at the Walt Disney World BoardWalk opened to guests yesterday afternoon. We were at Disney's Hollywood Studios when I saw a notification online that it'd be opening shortly, so we headed over to check out the newest themed bar at Walt Disney World. Nestled between Trattoria al Forno and the Flying Fish (still closed for refurbishment), the bar is on the small side, but makes a nice addition to the resort. There are no discounts taken here and we were told none were expected. The AbracadaBar is a more sedate experience than say, Trader Sam's - it almost has the feel as if the Hollywood Tower of Terror opened a bar.  (Check out our coverage of Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar at Disney Springs and Trader Sam's at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort).  There is no food served at AbracadaBar, I hope that changes sometime. This location used to be Seashore Sweets.
