Book Review: Disney 365 Bedtime Stories Offers a Year of Disney Fun

We received Disney 365 Bedtime Stories (365 Stories) to review. 365 Bedtime Stories releases on October 24th, 2017 and features a story for every day of the year. Each story takes up one page of the book and includes a small photo at the top.

The book itself is nicely presented, with a variety of characters on the cover and an elevated sparkly design that can be felt. Each story inside will take just a few minutes to read, perfect for bedtime. At least some of these stories are included in other books, I just reviewed Disney’s 5-Minute Winnie the Pooh Stories and I recognize “The Sleepover”. I review a moderate amount of kids story books and have not read most of the stories.

There is a wide variety of characters in the book, which is expected with 365 to choose from. From the above mentioned Winnie the Pooh to Frozen to Toy Story and so many classic and newer Disney characters, there is something for everyone here. The stories are fun and having one for each day is nice, it gives a year of reading without repeating any story. But some kids will prefer photo books – this book would not be that, with one photo at the top of each page that may be a couple of inches wide. For photo story books, I would recommend the 5-Minute Storybooks, like 5-Minute Winnie the Pooh Stories or Disney 5-Minute Christmas Stories. But those books tend to include 12 stories and this has 365.

Disney 365 Bedtime Stories  is a nice gift-sized book. Some books are sized more like stocking stuffers but this one is not. It is 368 pages and can be nicely wrapped and given on its own. I do recommend it for kids who love Disney stories but don’t need large photos to go with them.
