Topiaries Spring to Life in Advance of Epcot Flower & Garden Festival – Topiary Snow White Puts Forward a New Face!

Hi everyone!

Topiaries are now popping up in advance of the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival, which begins on March 5th. While I was hoping to see more unique placements of the topiaries (none yet are in different locations from last year), Snow White had a completely different look – she has a face!

The Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival officially begins on March 5th. It is my favorite time of year, and topiaries start appearing about 2 weeks prior to the Festival. This will be our 7th year covering the Festival, and we’ll be updating regularly until and after opening day!

Snow White looks COMPLETELY different than last year. Overall on my Instagram (under Mousesteps) and Facebook profiles, this has been a huge winner. From what I understand, this will be the only “faceless” topiary to become more animated this year. I hope that the other princesses, princes and fairies receive the same treatment in the future. I think her face looks gorgeous, with her eyes popping – she seems very lifelike. The main criticism that I’ve seen is that her bodice could use some color. The Seven Dwarfs also look different than last year, with beards that look more real (they don’t look as different as she does).

This is last year’s Seven Dwarfs – we do expect to see the lanterns back, they are always added a little late.

Snow White is the most lifelike topiary I think I’ve seen at the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival.

Here is our video of the Snow White topiary:

Lady and the Tramp are in the same location as they have been the last few years, in the Italy Pavilion at the bottom of the stairs.

Tinker Bell’s Butterfly House is coming along quickly.

The flower quilt near the Imagination Walkway is growing in.

This is a sign I hadn’t seen yet for the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival.

The food booths are being set up around World Showcase.

The Smokehouse Barbecue & Brews is back this year in the America Pavilion.

The pandas make another appearance in China.

The vibrant flower quilt near Test Track is being added now.
