New Starbucks Opens at Disney’s Hollywood Studios: A Look Inside the Trolley Car Cafe’ and Offerings

Hi everyone!

The Trolley Car Café opened today at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. We were told the newest Starbucks location would have a ribbon cutting tomorrow (February 4th, 2015).

The Trolley Car Café is located on the right hand side of Hollywood Blvd., serving breakfast sandwiches, beverages and snacks. The Disney Parks Blog says of the restaurant, that it is “themed to a classic trolley car station along Hollywood Boulevard”.

Before reading the article, here is our video tour of The Trolley Car Café.

There are four unique cupcakes to this location. The Cinderella Cupcake should be very popular, as well as the Lady and the Tramp version. The Chocolate Peanut Butter Cupcake sounds similar to the Darth Vader cupcake, and I was told the Chocolate Toffee Cupcake is like the Butterfinger Cupcake – it does look exactly like it, but with a different name.

There are La Boulange labeled offerings, including this Bacon, Egg & Gouda Artisan Sandwich.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios “You are Here” mug. We were able to get the Epcot mug before it was pulled, so we now have both (and will be picking up the Magic Kingdom version this week). Update 2/5 – we were able to get a discount on the Magic Kingdom mug today, we were told it was the first day the discount was available. And there was a limit of 5 of the same mugs per person noted, which was not listed here. They are selling like hotcakes!

There is some nice theming in the location.

As at other locations, there are two sides for ordering.

As at the other Starbucks locations at Walt Disney World, there is no indoor seating (I have been asked about that many times).
