4/25 Epcot Update – Artwork on Walls Surrounding Future Norway Anna & Elsa Meet & Greet Location; Monkey Kingdom Sand Sculpture

Hi everyone!

We stopped by Epcot to enjoy more of the Flower & Garden Festival before it ends in a few weeks, and found some artwork on the walls surrounding the future home of the Anna & Elsa meet & greet. The “Monkey Kingdom” sand sculpture also went up last week for Earth Day.

We have had a lot of rain lately, but yesterday was gorgeous all day.

The area behind the Norway wall looks to be very cleared out. Remember when there was a viking ship here? Now, artwork lines the walls in anticipation of the meet and greet. The art isn’t over-the-top ‘Frozen” themed, it is much more subtle. I imagine if there was an Anna & Elsa portrait, there would also be a big line for photos.

Here is a look at the artwork “banners”, 4 pieces in all that recur.

The walls stretch a long length toward the Norway restrooms and then toward Mexico. The Maelstrom area outside didn’t look any different, so I didn’t photograph it this time.

Over at the France pavilion, there is a new Ratatouille themed bread display in Les Halles Boulangerie. But first, we stopped to see Beauty and the Beast again with the Eiffel Tower in view.

We usually stop at Les Halles Boulangerie for a baguette before going home. It costs just $2.95 for a full one.

This is the bread display, with Remy and the Eiffel Tower. I always enjoy the creativity in the window displays!

And last, we wanted to see the Disneynature Monkey Kingdom sand sculpture. If you haven’t seen the film, we recommend it!

We look forward to more days at the Epcot Flower & Garden Festival! The Anna & Elsa meet and greet location and Maelstrom changeover to “Frozen” should both open in 2016.
