The Disney Store is having a Cyber Monday sale, with 25% off $100 in eligible merchandise, 20% off $75 in eligible merchandise, and 15% off $50 in eligible merchandise with code CYBER. I think I'm sitting this sale out because I'm just about done Christmas shopping from the last two sales, but many of the items are still in stock and a very good value. We've written before about the Sketchbook ornaments, many which are part of the sale - and other items too, it is a great time to pick up gifts!
The best deal for me is this Mickey Mouse Ear Headband that lights up, which is about $24.00 in the parks right now, but $10.00 online and then less with the sale. I picked up a bunch for gifts and one for myself and Jeff. There are a lot of items under $10.00 to begin with before further discount. I'm just posting a few favorite items, but there are many hundreds of items to choose from. It is nice when you can spend under $10 and it isn't a stocking stuffer. Any purchase you make through our links does help support us, thank you!
H20+ Cyber Monday Offer: 50% Off Most Products, Including Sea Marine Shampoo & Other Disney Resort Favorites
H20 Plus has a special offer just for Cyber Monday, 50% off most items with code CYBER50. We always stock up on the Sea Marine shampoo during sales, but Bath Aquatics is also another favorite of mine, it used to be in some of the Disney resorts. Free shipping is on orders of $40 or more. Check out the Disney resort collection!
There are some exclusions, like gift sets. Here are my two shampoo favorites. Any purchase made through Mousesteps does help support us, thank you! There are many other items like body washes, lotions, foot scrubs...I have never been disappointed in anything I've ordered.
Limited Release " The Rocketeer", Headless Horseman T-Shirts at Disney Store Online; Twenty Eight & Main
Disney Parks online has 2 new limited release Twenty Eight & Main shirts at The Disney Store! I know Jeff will want both. One is of The Rocketeer, and the other is The Headless Horseman. There are matching wood signs that are limited release also, through December 3rd, 2015. The shirts are $32.95, 2 or more are $30.00 each. These can take 3-5 weeks, so the shirts are iffy for Christmas. These are lightweight shirts, not a heavy cotton, I posted the information about each one and the wood signs. Any purchase you make through Mousesteps does help support us, thank you!
Here is information on The Rocketeer shirt.

Disney Store online has a nice selection of merchandise from the upcoming film, The Good Dinosaur. This is the second film that Pixar has released this year, after the huge hit Inside Out. The items out so far include a Sketchbook Ornament, t-shirts for adults and kids, a mug and plush figures. This is just a small part of what you can find at the Disney Store! Any purchases made on Mousesteps help the site, thank you! The Good Dinosaur opens in theaters November 25th, 2015.
I originally posted this article in September, but The Good Dinosaur comes out this week!
One of the more popular items at the Disney Store is this Arlo with Spot Action Figure.
Disney's Contemporary Resort Gingerbread Display Expands to Include "Frozen Fever" Theme: Photos & Video
On the same day we visited Disney's Grand Floridian Gingerbread House for the grand opening, we headed over to Disney's Contemporary Resort to see what was new with the gingerbread display. Last year, Frozen took over, nestled inside of the background of it's a small world. Over the past 7 or 8 years, there have been several different themes, but this year expanded upon the Frozen concept by adding a Frozen Fever component. You can read our article from last year with information about how the Frozen theme came about. We always enjoy seeing the talent of the baking team here.
Disney's Grand Floridian Iconic Gingerbread House Opens for 17th Year; Mickey Mouse Helps Cut Ribbon
Disney's Grand Floridian Gingerbread House opened for a 17th season yesterday with a ribbon cutting ceremony featuring Mickey Mouse. Last year was the first year that a Disney character helped cut the ribbon, with Alice assisting Executive Pastry Chef Erich Herbitschek with the honors. We have been posting articles about the Grand Floridian Gingerbread House since 2008, and I think the house just keeps getting better. It is always fun to see which characters are chosen as artwork for the windows! Unfortunately, we missed the final dusting this year due to being in California - we had arrived back from Anaheim just hours before heading out for yesterday's ceremony. Disney's Grand Floridian Resort Gingerbread House is a constant through the years, not changing too much since it began 17 years ago. The gingerbread house will remain open through the end of the year.
We attended the first two Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party nights of 2015. The tips are similar to our 2014 article, but there are changes from year to year, so I always write a new list. And enjoy the lighting around the Magic Kingdom, I think it is better than ever. Here are our tips for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party 2015! All photos and video were taken by us over 2 nights, and we have 120 photos in another article from after the first Party.
