Disney Park and Resort Photo Updates

4/26 Kidani Village at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – 200 Photos of the Resort

Hi everyone!

I’d gone down to Celebration for their Great American Pie Festival, and then stopped by Kidani Village at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge today to see if I could get any photos and I’m happy to say I have nearly 200 to share.  I will soon be dining at Sanaa.

There are displays along the walls around the resort, and quotations as well:

The Timon elevator, which is on the way to the lobby.   From what I’ve been told, it is a mile from one end of the resort to another – great exercise, but it definitely feels like an endless hallway (and I only walked half of it).

The bus transportation is also out the door along the walk, close to the main lobby:

The pool area is to the right as you walk out the front entrance of Kidani Village – it includes the fitness center, lockers, restrooms, and a pool bar.  The pool bar, Maji, has meals you can order.   I walked around the pool area twice, so these pics are in order (and it’s why you’ll see more photos of the bar well after the first ones). 🙂

Looking into the Community Center (which I did not go into):

The resort is gorgeous, I’ve not seen any rooms yet – the lobby feels very small, but there are other gathering areas (like the library and balconies) close by for guests to enjoy.   Even though I’ve been taking photos of Kidani from a distance for over a year, I’d not known where the pool was – and I was surprised it took a walk out the front of the lobby to get to it.  That said, I love the new pool area and the fitness center looks well-equipped.
