12/5 Justin Bieber, Samantha Brown, More at Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade Taping Magic Kingdom

Hi everyone!

A friend of mine invited me to join him at the Saturday morning Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade taping. I couldn't stay all day, but we showed up at 7:30am for the Justin Bieber segment, and stayed through early afternoon.

One of my favorite things in getting up and out early is seeing hot air balloons as I drive toward Disney:

 

 

Driving through the Magic Kingdom toll booth:

 

 

I hadn't yet seen this new change to the parking area names in person:

 

 

We made our way into the Magic Kingdom. There were several hold points as we made our way down Main Street.

We waited as everything was set up for the segment:

 

 

Billy Flanigan, a Cast Member who currently stars in the Finding Nemo show at Disney's Animal Kingdom, pumps up the audience. He is there each year to keep everyone entertained during the down times (and there are always a lot of them).

Large inflatables are carried towards the audience to act as a backdrop:

 

 

 

As Justin Bieber gets ready to sing, the large Mickey and candy canes were brought around – at one point, a large shadow loomed over us. The candy canes didn't stay for long, the producer decided to drop them from the segment.
