Busch Gardens Tampa to Host Sesame Street Halloween 2016 Event for Kids

Hi everyone!
Busch Gardens Tampa has announced two Sesame Street Kids' Weekends for 2016, on October 22nd & 23rd, and October 29th & 30th. These will feature favorite Sesame Street characters including Big Bird, Cookie Monster and Abby Cadabby! Keep reading for more information.

TAMPA, Fla. (October 11, 2016) – Busch Gardens® Tampa Bay will host Sesame Street® Kids’ Weekends this October, a kid-centered Halloween event featuring a hay bale maze, one-of-a-kind animal encounters, character parades, and trick-or-treat candy stations

What:              Sesame Street “Halloween” Kids’ Weekends

When:             “The Count Weekend" –

October 22 & 23 from 11 a.m. to 2 p. m.

"Monsters & Fairies Weekend" –

October 29 & 30 from 11 a.m. to 2 p. m.

Where:            Sesame Street® Safari of Fun, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay

The event will feature beloved Sesame Street characters in their Halloween costumes with special appearances by Count von Count, Elmo, Cookie Monster, Abby Cadabby, Big Bird and other popular faces. Kids are encouraged to wear costumes, too.

Each weekend will have a different festive theme. The first weekend will be themed after Count von Count, the famous Sesame Street vampire, where he’ll help you count your way through a “batty” Halloween maze. Monsters & Fairies weekend will follow, with Halloween-themed arts and crafts to transform the kids into a magical fairy like Abby Cadabby or a loveable monster like Elmo.

Character parades will take place at the top of every hour of the event. Plus, guests can expect kid-friendly music along with the chance to meet with Busch Gardens Tampa Bay’s animal ambassadors.
