“Despicable Me 3” Characters Meeting at Universal Orlando Through August 19th, 2017 (Photos, Video)

We went to Universal Orlando last week, mostly to finally ride Race Through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon. But while there, we found Gru, his brother Dru, and a variety of Minions out and about for meet and greets to coincide with Despicable Me 3! They will be meeting for much of the summer, through August 19th, 2017. There are two meet and greet locations, one in the KidZone area and the other near the Despicable Me Minion Mayhem attraction. Here are photos and video from the meet and greets!

Our first Minion stop was to see Minions at the Jail Minion Tattoo Parlor.
We had just missed the Minion set, but were able to catch them for a couple of photos on their way out and then saw their next set.

The meet and greet area is nicely themed.

I definitely recommend these meet and greets! The lines weren’t too long, though it is better to arrive a little earlier than starting time because once the characters arrived, more guests got in line.
Here are the times for Gru and Dru with Minions. There will also be a Despicable Me 3 weekend takeover at Universal CityWalk from June 30 – July 2, I don’t know what that entails but we’ll see! I know there will be a dance party.
