5/18 Star Wars Weekends Opening Day – Motorcade, Stars of the Saga, Hyperspace Hoopla, More!

Hi everyone!

We spent most of yesterday at Disney's Hollywood Studios for the first day of Star Wars Weekends. It was absolutely crowded, moreso than I've ever seen it for the first Friday! Today (Saturday) was even crazier, with guests directed to park at Epcot after the Studios parking lot was full.

As I am proofreading this on Sunday, we are getting ready to head out to the last day of the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival. I have over 300 photos posted from opening day!

With as busy as it is has been, I recommend getting to the Studios early in the day for Star Wars Weekends! Hopefully the crowds will ease up for the second weekend a little. The shows we attended weren't quite full, but the Star Wars Celebrity Motorcade and Hyperspace Hoopla – very crowded! The line for Ray Park's Visit to the Maul also was longer than I've seen it before.
