Cinderella Castle Dream Lights – First Lighting EVER for 2007 at Disney’s Magic Kingdom Park

Note in 2023 – Cinderella Castle Dream Lights ended a few years ago, unfortunately. Back in 2007, my photos were much smaller and next year I may have a series where I rework some of my old articles (not with as many photos, but larger).

Hi everyone!

I went today to see Cinderella Castle as it changed to “ice” for the first time ever.  I arrived just as it was starting to light up, so I wasn’t too close to the show – but the Dream Lights are beautiful! Cinderella, the Fairy Godmother, Mickey, Minnie and more help light the castle. * 2013 note – Cinderella Castle no longer lights at dusk, and the Christmas tree isn’t placed in the Rose Garden anymore (I loved that!)

Here are the first Cinderella Castle Dream Lights! I have more of the show in a different article.

The Fairy Godmother grants Cinderella’s Wish to light the castle. Actually, Cinderella didn’t even know she had the wish but apparently she did!

Cinderella Castle was still dark.

The lights start to come on, which was so wonderful.

Cinderella Castle was fully lit! I recommend arriving early for the show and lighting so you can get a good spot, which I did not do on this day.

Here are photos of Cinderella Castle after it was lit. Dusk made the castle look extra beautiful here with the purple background and purple castle with lights.

Soon it was completely dark. It is still beautiful, but I think dusk just gave it something extra. Here are more photos with my tripod.

I went to the Rose Garden. The Christmas tree in the Magic Kingdom Rose Garden makes a beautiful addition to the photos, as do the roses.

The Christmas tree and Cinderella Castle also look gorgeous reflected.

We will have much more of Walt Disney World holidays soon!
