Disney Park and Resort Photo Updates

4/21 Characters in Flight Grand Opening, Tomorrowland, BLT, New Treehouse Sign

I was told by one pilot that the wind speed in the air can be as much as 3 times as on the ground – so what feels like a mild breeze can be too windy to go up – as shown this week with the very limited hours that the balloon has flown.   The pilot went on to say that they expect summer to be a great time for the balloon, with much calmer winds than April has brought.   I have been very comfortable with the knowledge and confidence of all the pilots.  For anyone interested, I have a Disneyland Paris photo walk I did which includes photos of the Paris version, Panoramagique!

He mentioned that Paradiso 37 was set to open in late May/early June, which is later than what I’d last heard.

I stopped at the Magic Kingdom, to see if the Stitch Celebration walls were down yet (they aren’t).   There was work being done on it today.  Remember that I also have photos from Sunday of Space Mountain and the People Mover now closed. (to see some of Tomorrowland’s original attractions, JeffLangeDVD has the wonderful Tomorrowland Classics!)
