D23 Flowers and Fireworks Photos w/Tony Orlando Concert Pics

 

Sunday evening, D23 put on an event they titled "Flowers and Fireworks".   I signed up for D23 recently based on the slate of events that had been announced, which bring immense value to the membership.  I was happy to be able to get in this one.  In addition to these photos, you can also find more pictures and a report here!  (Update 6/8: D23 sent out a pin to first-day members, you can see that here!)

D23 members had priority seating for the Tony Orlando show on the final day of the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival.   Ron, the ever-present Disney photographer was there to take pictures throughout the event:

Tony Orlando came onstage with Mickey Mouse hands to sing the Mickey Mouse Club theme song in honor of D23.    He mentioned the group through much of the concert.

 

 

I believe this woman is a relative of his, she came up later with a group onto the stage:

 

 

 

Tony Orlando took off the Mickey hands and started singing a variety of his own hits, as well as other songs.   He was terrific, though video was not allowed (it is rather unusual for concerts at Disney, though Blake Shelton also had that rule a few years back).
