7/23 Best Friends, Downtown Disney, Magic Kingdom Fantasyland and More, WL, Fort Wilderness

Hi everyone!

This is a longer update, I have photos from Downtown Disney, the Magic Kingdom – including photos and video of Fantasyland construction from Dumbo!  Over at Fort Wilderness, everyone who is driving into the parking lot must go through security.

The Best Friends pet care photos are a few days old, I saw the construction from a bus yesterday and it’s changing every day.  It is set to open in about a month, with the other kennels closing.

In front of the Adventurers Club, there are living statues as part of the live entertainment.  We passed by their area prior to dining at the Portobello Restaurant (we were invited for their new meatball bar, my review is here). We have video of a living statue here.

Inside, registers and displays have been moved around and changed.  The queue has small bins that include everything from lollipops to wine corks.   I was told that they had needed more room for Photopass guests to view their photos at the end of the night:

Over at The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, the queue has been moved outside as everything but the shop has been walled off:

At Fort Wilderness, one entrance has been closed to guests so that everyone goes through security (like all other resorts have). The parking lot seems to be undergoing some changes for this, as it sounds like the other entrance will be used by buses.  The gate that used to open after every bus is currently not in use.  Then when guests leave, they use the long exit on the way out:
