Disney Park and Resort Photo Updates

11/6/10 Pollo Campero, One Man’s Dream, Osborne Lights Cast Preview Photos and More!

Hi everyone!

We went to Downtown Disney yesterday, and took some photos of Pollo Campero as well as some holiday decor. Our plans then were only for One Man’s Dream at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, but we were invited to the cast preview of the Osborne Lights!

Downtown Disney was getting ready for a benefit sale (for the United Way) that happened Saturday morning.

The AMC theater renovations continue, I’ve read that there will be 20 theaters and more food options when it’s finished.

It may not be long before the name “Pleasure Island” is gone.  I took some photos of some of the different club names that are still visible:

We stopped in at Earl of Sandwich and had our free holiday sandwiches (with the purchase of a drink and chips with a Facebook coupon).  The offer expires November 7th. Even at full price, it’s a great sandwich and only available for a limited time!

We went to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the parking lot was empty:

Our main reason to be there was to take photos and video of One Man’s Dream, which has changed some during it’s rehab.

However, we noticed the Toy Story 3 topiaries had changed since we’d seen them only a day earlier – Woody was gone!  We were told that it might be due to the cold. For some reason, I’d never noticed the Pixar Place sign either previously:

Entering One Man’s Dream, and stopping by the Audio-Animatronic of Abraham Lincoln from the 1964-65 Worlds Fair.  We saw this at the D23 Expo last year.  We have full video of this new area from One Man’s Dream!

I had left the Abraham Lincoln display earlier due to a lot of guests gathering in that one area – but I went back and took some more photos of it.  There is also a sculpture behind the glass that used to be in the Contemporary Resort:

We had a last-minute invite for the Osborne Lights, which was having a cast member preview that night.  Before the lights were turned on:

Photos of the first Osborne Lights for this season – I plan to take a tripod in just over a week, so check back for a full Osborne Lights update!  Phineas and Ferb are now part of the Osborne Lights in voice form – you can see that in our videos here.
