Disney Park and Resort Photo Updates

1/16 – Let the Memories Begin! New Sign, Banners, More Magic Kingdom and Epcot

Hi everyone!

Disney has started promoting “Let the Memories Begin” in the parks now, with signs and banners.  We have the Magic Kingdom front entrance (photos and video), during the day and at night.  (We covered the Magic Kingdom for the Haunted Mansion queue and Fantasyland just a few days ago, you can find that here!

Mousesteps was invited to the “Let the Memories Begin” event on Tuesday, followed by a 2 night Disney Dream cruise!  We will have full coverage of both.

We were at the Grand Floridian first, and walked past Narcoossee’s (we just dined there last week).  The menu date was off, it shows Thursday as the 14th – but the 14th wasn’t until Friday.

Taking the boat to the Magic Kingdom, we had our first glimpse of the “Let the Memories Begin” sign.

The sign is flanked by photos representing guest’s memories of Walt Disney World.  You’ll notice this sign is very popular, there was a line for the Photopass photographer shown in some of the photos.  If you’d like to see video from day and night, you can find it here!

We played a game where we had to guess a jelly bean flavor to have a sample of fudge.  I guessed coffee for my jelly bean (it was capuccino, but I don’t like coffee and wouldn’t recognize capuccino from any other flavor).  They still gave it to me. 🙂

I love these new Mickey ears for the 40th anniversary!  They come in a very nice box, and the material for the ears is heavy:

We are heading to Disney’s Hollywood Studios to get photos and video of the new parade today – remember we’ll be covering both the new campaign AND the Disney Dream this week! (most of my photos will probably not be up for the Disney Dream until next weekend, since I will have so many to go through).
