Disney Park and Resort Photo Updates

4/4 Haunted Mansion Hitchhiking Ghosts New Mirror Effects – Queue Now Includes Brides Ring!

Hi everyone!

We had heard that the Magic Kingdom's new Hitchhiking Ghost mirror effects had been unveiled, so we headed straight to the park. We have photos and video of the new ghosts!  In addition, the Bride's engagement ring is now part of the interactive queue pavement.

A cast member holds the sign for the line – it was long when we arrived, though we rode 4 times and the ride line went down each time:

We walked through the interactive queue once to see the new tombstone that was added a week or so back. The busts were also moved to the left in their area, I'm not sure why.  A cast member asked us if we'd figured out which bust was that of the killer – we hadn't. There are a couple of clues, one is behind the head of one bust, and the other is actually in a lenticular picture frame in the Hitchhiking Ghost scene. Check out our photos and video from our first visit to the Haunted Mansion interactive queue!

The new Haunted Mansion tombstone is a nod to Imagineer Colin Campbell. The epitath:

He died in the fall

It's a fact not withstanding

But the judges admired his form on the landing

The original brides ring was not really a ring at all – but now there is an engagement ring in the pavement. It isn't easy to see, you can get an idea of the location by watching our video!
