7/28 Bonnet Creek Hilton and Waldorf Astoria Hotels Orlando (near Walt Disney World)

We walked past Oscar’s restaurant and into the fitness center:

We toured a suite, which was extremely luxurious. The only other similar hotel experience I can remember is visiting the Willard in Washington, D.C.  It even included an Expresso Maker!  A Deluxe Room (which would be their standard room) includes 448 square feet of space, a 42″ HDTV, and a Blu-Ray DVD player. The bathroom includes a marble bath and soaking tub with a separate glass shower. Housekeeping will show up twice a day.

The hallway rug and decor is lush – and reminds me more of a home than a hotel.

We walk past the lobby again. While the Waldorf Astoria is the epitome of upscale lodging, we did see some children – and this teddy bear laying on a bench:

We walked back from the Waldorf Astoria to the Hilton:

These are two exquisite hotels just steps off of Disney property, and I’m looking forward to heading back.  The Hilton Bonnet Creek is becoming an event hotel as well, they have Barbecue Weekends coming up that look like a lot of fun! There is a parking fee – $13.00 for self parking, which can be validated if you are just going to a restaurant to dine.
