This is the third in a series of over a dozen photo articles I'll be posting about LEGOLAND Florida. We were invited to the media event and grand opening, and had a very nice time both days!

From the LEGOLAND website, it says about the show:
"Pirates’ Cove has been taken over by swashbuckling pirates along the shores of Lake Eloise at LEGOLAND Florida’s very own live action, water-stunt show."
The ski show theme is definitely aimed towards kids – you'll be saying "PIRATES!" over and over when you leave, and you'll never forget that Brickbeard "is nasty and he smells". But while the show is aimed towards young children, the skiing is professional and I enjoyed watching the acrobatic maneuvers by the characters in the show. The main character is named Miranda Valentina, who is defending Pirate's Cove from Brickbeard and his pirates. What was most impressive to me was the LEGO characters on skis – that can't be easy!
