10/21 Magic Kingdom – Fantasyland Update, Miss America as Grand Marshal in Parade for CMN

We went to the outside area of Pinocchio's Village Haus to spend a few minutes with Jeff's family, I took photos – including one of the Werthers candy balloon, which I don't think was there when we attended Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party (the balloon was, not the Werthers name):

I had heard there was a Duffy the Disney Bear book, and here it is:
Storybook Circus is now said to be opening early next year, possibly in the spring!
Earlier that day, we were there for a special Celebrate a Dream Come True parade. Champions from the Children's Miracle Network – along with Miss America – participated as Grand Marshals. Children from around the country are chosen as Champions, each has undergone a medical challenge and now represent children from Children's Miracle Network Hospitals around the country.
On our way to the Magic Kingdom, I noticed that the resort monorail line was extended later for the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party:

The scrim is down from this entrance, allowing guests to see the Walt Disney plaque that has been often covered by banners:
