1/11 Denise’s Corner – Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom, Savings on Beauty & The Beast, Disney Blu-ray

Hi everyone!

This has been a much busier week than I expected, starting with Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom play testing. We played on two different days, at two different levels and I have that story with photos and videos here!

We are heading to Busch Gardens tomorrow for a media event for their new Animal Care Center. Jack Hanna will be part of the fun, we are looking forward to the event (and to riding Cheetah Hunt again).

I also plan to have a Boma dining review soon from our breakfast this past Sunday, and an updated Pop Century Resort photo walk today (I’ll link the photo walk when finished).

There is a free 5 point code for Disney Movie Rewards right now with code LKFJDAL838O

I joined Disney Movie Rewards just over a year ago, and have received some pretty nice items, including two Walt Disney Studios ball caps. The rewards change often, and it doesn’t take long with the free codes, movies in the theater and Blu-rays to add up (and we don’t buy a lot)!

Are you planning on seeing Beauty and the Beast 3D in theaters? Disney Movie Rewards just posted a way to see it free with a qualifying movie purchase! We did this for the film The Muppets last month, buying two DVDs and getting free tickets in the process. I now wish we hadn’t already entered our code from the Beauty and the Beast 3D Blu-ray we bought in December! This offer is good through 2/19/12.

While checking Amazon for prices of the DVD/Blu-rays (to see if it’d be worth it for us), I found that Amazon is having a special sale. Pre-order Lady and the Tramp by February 6th, 2012 and receive $10.00 off when combining with another eligible film. So at current prices, I could pick up the Lady and the Tramp Diamond Edition Two-Disc Blu-ray/DVD Combo for $24.99, the Bambi Two Disc Diamond Edition Blu Ray/DVD for $21.49, spending about $36.00 after discount (including shipping) for the two sets, getting one free Beauty and the Beast movie ticket from the Bambi purchase in the process. I like to save money, and we are trying to build our library! When you click on the Lady and the Tramp link, it will let you know about the $10.00 offer and will show all the films eligible and the fine print.

I think I linked everything properly – if you are purchasing for the free Beauty and the Beast movie ticket, just compare the film with the link on the Disney Movie Rewards website! And I love getting the Disney Movie Rewards points as a bonus!

I hope you are enjoying your week!
