Magic Kingdom

3/3 One More Disney Day at the Magic Kingdom – Mickey and Minnie in Pajamas, Park at Dawn

Next stop – the Main Street Bakery for cupcakes! Unlike the 40th Anniversary, there were plenty to go around. And unlike other special event cupcakes I've had, these were not too sweet or heavy with frosting (I am a huge fan of frosting, but some of the Disney cupcakes have overwhelmed even me!) The cake part reminded me of a chocolate muffin and the frosting was sweet but not overpowering. We split one between us during a break with a large group of friends.

There were special goodies including candy apples in the Confectionery:

After our stop, we went to the Emporium. I love these Mickey Mouse Club ears! They cost just $16.95 – the women's version has a bow. And the ears were apparently designed to cover widow's peaks like mine!

There were Main Street vehicles out for display, many we'd already seen during President Obama's visit.  I took photos of the Goofy's Candy Company Truck:

There was a dance party in front of Cinderella Castle. We just stayed there for a few minutes – there was some song about Kentucky Fried Chicken and Pizza Hut that I've heard a few times before. Apparently there is even a dance for it!
