We are heading out of the Dig Site now, and back on the path (where we left off) to the Ranchos. The clock is back on! We arrive to the Ranchos at 10:35am.
The Ranchos quiet pool:
The Ranchos area has a much more sparse feel, it reminds me of the Santa Fe hotel at Disneyland Paris – but with a nicer look. Cactuses and layered rocks are scattered about the Southwestern pueblo style buildings. Compared with the other two sections of the resort, it feels remote – aided by the lack of the lake view. We are walking the path through the Ranchos. I don’t remember if I’ve stayed at the Ranchos in the past, but I enjoy the atmosphere here.
