Epcot Easter Egg-sperience Hunt Around World Showcase (Spoilers)

Hi everyone! It was a beautiful spring day for the Easter Egg-sperience (Easter egg hunt) at Epcot’s World Showcase on Thursday! The hunt is scheduled to run through April 20th, Easter day. Keep reading for photos and video of our Egg-sperience.

Look at the blue sky we had for the hunt! And I could spend every day at Epcot during the Flower & Garden Festival, it is just beautiful.

We actually purchased our map for $4.95 at the Pin Trading Station, but they can also be purchased here at Disney Traders (where the hunt ends). We found it interesting that the Pin Trading Station is now selling MagicBands; half of the kiosk is pins and half MagicBands.

The hunt is very similar to last year’s Vinylation Easter Egg Hunt, except we like the prizes better this year. The prizes last year were leftover Vinylmation keychains, but the prizes this year are hollowed plastic eggs in the shape of Minnie, Mickey, Donald, Daisy, Chip and Dale. I’ve been asked if there was a Perry and Figment, but there wasn’t when we were there (we wish!)

All of the prizes were lined up, instead of underneath the large eggs for a random surprise. The eggs are generally given out at the end of the game, but Cast Members allowed guests to pick one out upon purchasing the map as well. And some guests just wanted all 6 eggs, and purchased 6 maps.

Here is a close-up on the eggs.

And here are the spoilers I mentioned! I didn’t find this year’s hunt to be as complicated as last year – not that last year was difficult, but it was the first year, and we weren’t sure what to expect. No egg took long to find this year. I do recommend arriving upon opening to World Showcase, so that fewer guests are playing.

The eggs can be within the pavilion, but most (if not all) are visible from the World Showcase walkway. Here are a few photos from this year’s hunt around World Showcase!

Here is our Epcot Egg-Stravaganza map, with all the stickers in place.

We enjoyed the Epcot Egg-stravaganza again this year, and think it’s a bargain for $4.95! (no discounts)
