Anna and Elsa Topiaries Arrive at Epcot with Flower and Garden Festival One Week Away

Hi everyone!

Anna and Elsa topiaries are now in place as the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival continues to take shape with just one week until the March 4th, 2015 debut. We were busy during the day, but made it in time to see them at sunset this evening. Other topiaries have been added in the past two days, including Peter Pan, Cinderella with Prince Charming, and Belle and the Beast! Keep reading for photos of Anna and Elsa, along with some other newly added topiaries. Our last update was from late last week, and includes more topiaries.

The front topiary will include Chip & Dale in their Epcot Flower & Garden Festival debut, and should be the last one to be added.

Flower planters are now in the water near the Odyssey.

Anna and Elsa drew a very large crowd of guests wanting photos. The Photopass photographer kept telling each guest to “freeze” for a photo.

Both Anna and Elsa have large, blue eyes. They are sculpted like Snow White has been since last year, and Woody also has a sculpted face. Most characters don’t have a face, or one that is created without this depth of facial features.

Elsa is trying her best to conjure cold weather, but fortunately our cold snap is over for the time being.

Elsa’s hair sculpting is very nicely detailed, as are Anna’s braids.

Here is our video of Anna and Elsa as topiaries!

Anna is easily seen from behind the topiary display.

The flower quilt is growing in beautifully and looks lovely at sunset.

Cinderella and Prince Charming dance together in a new spot at the France Pavilion.

Belle and the Beast have also moved, with the Eiffel Tower in view. Lumiere and Cogsworth are behind them. We will be back for tripod night photos once the Festival starts!

We’ve shown Snow White during the day, but the lighting is perfect here at night!

We will be bringing much, much more from the Epcot Flower & Garden Festival in the coming weeks! The festival kicks off March 4th, and will end on May 17th, 2015. One of my favorite things about living here is having extra weeks to enjoy the flowers and topiaries!
