MouseSteps Weekly #134 Disney’s Fort Wilderness Stay; DHS Starbucks & Sorcerers Hat; Peter Pan Queue

In Mousesteps Weekly #134, we talk about:

Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, which we stayed at for 5 nights thanks to Moore Camping Rental and their new luxury RV. We take a quick look at the RV we stayed in before venturing out into the campground. This is one of our favorite resorts at Walt Disney World, always a relaxing experience. We stayed at site 1436, which is our new favorite area to be located in – it is close to the campfire and Meadows, which is the heart of the resort. 

We head to Trail’s End for breakfast, which we hadn’t done in a while. This is one of few restaurants on Walt Disney World property that we visit multiple times per year. 

We take walks at Disney’s Fort Wilderness, finding many deer along the way. And one night we visited the Chip & Dale Campfire Program, making s’mores and meeting the chipmunks.

Our last stop at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Campground was the Tri-Circle-D Ranch for a free guided tour of the stables. We were told that this is a precursor to a possible full $ tour.

While at the campground, we visited the parks as well. First we head to Disney’s Hollywood Studios to check out the Trolley Car Cafe, which is the newest Starbucks at Walt Disney World.

At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, we also meet Max Goof and check out the Sorcerer’s Hat as it continues to be removed.

Our last stop is Peter Pan’s Flight at the Magic Kingdom to see the new interactive queue. This queue is a wonderful upgrade, and the interactive element is not something that hands will touch. We take a walk through the whole queue and share some of the fun effects, like Tinker Bell visiting and Peter Pan’s shadow.
