Ring of Fire Water flight for World Whiskey Day 2024 at Raglan Road Irish Pub in Disney Springs

LAKE BUENA VISTA, FL – The Irish are known to say that “today’s rain is tomorrow’s whiskey.” We’re expecting rain in Orlando this week, and Raglan Road Irish Pub & Restaurant will seize World Whiskey Day this Saturday to showcase the pub’s half-price Ring of Fire Water Flight.

It’ll be the perfect day to stop by the pub to taste some of the finest whiskeys from Ireland, Scotland, and Japan. The flight, valued at $80, will be served just one day for $40 to celebrate the occasion.  The Ring of Fire Water Flight, named after the Gaelic whiskey term “fire water” and Japan’s location on the western edge of the Ring of Fire archipelago, will include:

  • Midleton Blended Irish Whiskey, Very Rare 2022 Ireland—this whiskey features mandarin and candied apple notes with flavors of caramelized red applies and orange zest, waves of crème brûlée intertwining with the pot still spices and cereal undertones.
  • Yamazaki Single Malt Whiskey, 12 Years Japan—Citrus notes with hints of vanilla and clove are smooth and soft on the palate with coconut, cranberry and butter. Enjoy a long finish with notes of sweet ginger and cinnamon.
  • Macallan Sherry Oak, 18 Years Scotland—This full-bodied palate of mature oak, ginger and raisin flavors is complemented by a light mahogany natural hue leaving a lingering finish of dried fruits and oak.

“World Whiskey Day is always worth celebrating, and especially when the options are some of the finest whiskeys on the planet,” says Raglan Road General Manager Rachael Conroy. “Join us Saturday for some stellar sips to pair with our weekend brunch, dinner, or late-night bites.”

While guests toast their whiskey deal, they can enjoy live music throughout the afternoon and evening. From noon-4 p.m., Northern Crossing from Glasgow will play a mix of traditional Irish music on the Grand Room Stage. From 4:30-10:45 p.m., the Connemara Ramblers, a dynamic two-piece trad ensemble, will perform. On the Patio Stage from 6-11 p.m., Colin Farrell and Blain Curtis will serenade outdoor guests.
