Mousesteps Weekly #200: Part 2 of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Discussion; PizzeRizzo; Minnie’s Halloween Dine

Hi everyone!

I usually don’t remember to post our Mousesteps Weekly YouTube shows on the website, but I wanted to make sure to share #200. You can find all 200 of our episodes at this link, including last week (#199) when we talked all about Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. This week, we continue that discussion and then add in a look at PizzeRizzo construction and Minnie’s Halloween Dine at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Below our show, you can read about the different segments. Thank you for watching and supporting Mousesteps Weekly, I can’t believe we have recorded 200 shows now! And thanks also to MEI Travel/Mouse Fan Travel for their sponsorship, we recommend them for your Disney vacation travel (as well as destinations around the world).

In Mousesteps Weekly #200, we talk about the following topics:

We head back to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, where we start by showing how the new Allergy Friendly Experience works. Guests with food allergies can trick or treat as usual, but receive tokens to be traded in for allergy-friendly treats. At the end of the segment, we pick up treats.

We visit Jack Skellington and Sally (this was on our first Party night) in Liberty Square, and the Seven Dwarfs, Minnie, and Donald in Storybook Circus on night two. Cruella DeVil also meets in Storybook Circus. There is a treat station inside Pete’s Silly Sideshow.

We check out the Monstrous Scream-O-Ween Ball in Tomorrowland, visit the Pooh characters (all in Halloween costumes) in Fantasyland, and see Gaston with Belle near Gaston’s Tavern. Madame Carlotta tells stories in front of the Haunted Mansion.

Jasmine is now meeting in her new costume, and she can be found with Genie in Adventureland. They swap off with Aladdin and Abu.

Trick or Treat locations include the Tiki Room, Jungle Cruise and the Liberty Belle. We close out our Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party 2016 nights on Main Street after 1:00 a.m.

Next, we head to Disney’s Hollywood Studios for Minnie’s Halloween Dine. First, we take a look at the upcoming PizzeRizzo counter service location – and also upcoming, Gonzo’s Royal Flush.

Minnie’s Halloween Dine is the newest seasonal dine hosted by Minnie Mouse at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Minnie, Mickey, Donald, Daisy and Goofy greet guests in their Halloween costumes. Donald is very impressive as an astronaut! We also take a look at the food items on the buffet.

Thanks to Grace Nuth for the beautiful artwork, and to everyone that has watched and supported us over the 200 shows.

Recorded 09/17/16 Featuring Commentary from Denise Preskitt and Jeff Lange.
