Harmony Barber Shop Cast Member Michal is Retiring After 20 Years: Last Day is January 13th, 2017

Hi everyone!

We stopped by Harmony Barber Shop in the Magic Kingdom yesterday so Jeff could get his hair cut by Michal, and found out that Michal’s last day before retiring will be Friday, January 13th, 2017. Not only is it Michal’s last day, but it is his only day of work left. Michal has been at the Harmony Barber Shop for 20 years now, and it’s always been a pleasure to see him when he’s working and to get my hair cut with him on occasion as well. Here are a few photos from yesterday, Michal will be missed at the Magic Kingdom by so many guests!

The Harmony Barber Shop is a fantastic location for hair cuts, especially “Baby’s First Haircut”. From all the comments on our social media yesterday, Michal has made an impression on so many parents who brought their children in. Not only that, but Michal always has great stories to tell.

Jeff didn’t realize Michal was retiring, so it was great he was able to get one last haircut in.

Michal has been the barber/stylist to many friends, and most ask for him exclusively.

Jeff had one last photo in the special Mickey Mouse cape as Michal holds his special scissors and comb.

We had talked briefly about Harmony Barber Shop in Mousesteps Weekly #152, including Jeff getting his hair cut by Michal. We will be talking about him in Mousesteps Weekly #211 as well.

Here is a current list of services at the Harmony Barber Shop. I personally started going here because they don’t try to sell anything to me, and it’s really convenient – plus you never know what streetmosphere might drop by on occasion! I will miss seeing Michal when I get my haircuts here in the future.
