DVD Review: Mickey and the Roadster Racers: Start Your Engines

Hi everyone!

Disney is out with Mickey and the Roadster Racers: Start Your Engines on DVD. There are 7 episodes here of the popular (and adorable) Disney Junior show, totalling about an hour an a half – so a lot of bang for the buck.

It was a very nice surprise for me to see a short for the upcoming Disney-Pixar film Coco here before the show segments started! The film looks like it will be fantastic.

I listed below the different episodes, I think my favorite was “Ye Olde Royal Heist” as Mickey needed to buy a “Race-ivversary” gift for Minnie, and set out in London to find one. Mickey ends up with the Queen’s stolen ruby from the Tower of London, and Minnie sees it and thinks it is hers. Sir Lord Pete – the actual thief, is up against Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy and Goofy. I enjoyed seeing the different London landmarks including the London Eye and Big Ben! And the Queen looks so much like Mickey. This is just a fun episode, and should hold the attention of young kids. And there are 6 more episodes, and a Roadster Racers flag as a tangible bonus (as many Disney Junior DVDs have).

Here is information about Mickey and the Roadster Racers: Start Your Engines!
