4th Annual RunDisney Virtual Series Celebrates 80 Years of Marvel
Hi everyone!
This summer, the 4th annual runDisney Virtual Series will return – and the 2019 version will celebrate 80 Years of Marvel! There are three Marvel themed 5Ks to choose from – Captain Marvel (June), Iron Man (July) and Black Panther (August). Runners can choose one or participate in all three races and earn a Marvel 80th medal as well. Participants don’t only receive medals, but a digital race bib and finisher certificate. Challenge participants will also receive a special commemorative item.
What is nice about the RunDisney Virtual Series is that it offers participants the ability to run, jog or walk anywhere they want – from the treadmill to around the neighborhood, or if you live in the Orlando area like me, around Walt Disney World! My favorite walks include around the Walt Disney World BoardWalk and Epcot. And for more experienced runners, the runDisney Virtual Series is a great way to train for upcoming races.
Registration opens May 7th at 10:00 a.m. ET. The virtual run season takes place June 1 – August 31.
Prices are online for the RunDisney Virtual Series, and another bonus is that no travel is needed. You can earn your medal wherever you are located.
For more information and to sign up for the runDisney Virtual Series – or to learn more about the runDisney races that take place a Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Paris – visit runDisney.com. You can put your name on the mailing list to stay up-to-date on all things runDisney! If looking for the Disneyland Paris runDisney site, you can find that here. Disneyland Paris was the last park location I participated in runDisney events, and I highly recommend it.
