Epcot Festival of the Arts “Hidden” Character Artwork Around World Showcase (w/Spoilers)

Hi everyone!

The Epcot International Festival of the Arts offers a variety of interactive experiences including Figment’s Brush with the Masters scavenger hunt. This year the hunt I was most taken by was to look for character art in World Showcase. These aren’t painted on, at first I thought so until seeing the Pascal with the Tangled sun peeling slightly at the edges. But overall, the characters look really nice at each location and I expect they will be all removed at the end of the Festival. The Epcot International Festival of the Arts ends February 25th, 2019 and Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival then takes over the event calendar on March 6th.

There are some spoilers but I don’t show the exact locations of all of the characters (the video does). I think we found all of them, but there isn’t a guide so I am not positive. I couldn’t find characters in some countries but then France and Germany have several each – well, Germany has several Pascals.

The Epcot International Festival of the Arts has become my second favorite Epcot event – the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival is still tops for me. But I do really like the art focus and interactive element to this festival.

We did not find any characters in Mexico or Norway but found Mushu with Cri-Kee outside China.

Close up on the characters.

Here is our video with lots of spoilers.

Little Brother from Mulan is also in China.

Timon and Pumba are at The Outpost.

Timon close up.

This is the Pascal with Tangled sun I mentioned before. It is one of several Pascals at Germany.

Pascal is just here for the caramel corn.

Pascal is also here at Volkskunst.

He blends into the wall.

Jiminy Cricket is one of the harder characters to find, in Italy.

Amos in America.

Abu can be found in Morocco.

France has a number of different characters to find, including The Aristocats.

They were the first ones I found on a day that I wasn’t even looking yet. They are really cute in France.

Lumiere is also here.

Emile looks to be in a macaron tart. If Remy wasn’t nearby, I am not sure I would have recognized him.

Remy holds a raspberry.

Skippy from Robin Hood.

Disney chose a variety of interesting characters to feature.

That is it! This was a fun character hunt through World Showcase, especially since I didn’t know who all the characters would be (but checked Instagram after to see if there were any I didn’t find). It was harder than some of the regular scavenger hunts, with a few of the characters in harder-to-find places.
