Epcot International Festival of the Arts Returning from January 17th – February 24th, 2020

Hi everyone!

The Epcot International Festival of the Arts will be back for its 4th year in 2020! The dates for this interactive festival are January 17th – February 24th, 2020. The event includes the Disney on Broadway Concert Series, workshops, art signings and more. This is a fun festival, I recommend adding it to your calendar!

In the Disney Parks Blog post about the Festival returning, other additions to Epcot were noted as well. In addition to Epcot International Festival of the Arts offerings, guests visiting during the festival will also be able to enjoy fun new film experiences in World Showcase. As previously announced, the new “Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along” will debut in January 2020 in the France pavilion in addition to Impressions de France. This new sing-along adventure is directed by Don Hahn, producer of both the animated and live-action versions of this tale as old as time. “Canada Far and Wide in Circle-Vision 360” will debut in January 2020 in the Canada pavilion with new scenes and a new story. The Land pavilion will welcome a new film, “Awesome Planet,” in January 2020 showcasing the beauty, diversity and dynamic story of the planet.

And Disney also mentioned ending the night with Epcot Forever, which begins on October 1st, 2019 – it will take over from Illuminations: Reflections of Earth after its 20 year run.

Something else new that wasn’t mentioned is the upcoming Disney Skyliner, which is just weeks away now. If you have a Walt Disney World ticket that allows you to park hop, you can mix up your day a bit by heading over to Disney’s Hollywood Studios to experience Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge for a few hours and then head back to Epcot on the new gondola system.
