Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway New Poster Art Debuts as Part of Countdown Series in Advance of March 4th, 2020 Opening
Hi everyone!
Disney released new poster art as the first of a series to commemorate the upcoming March 4th debut of Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. This poster art is from the 2015 Mickey Mouse short “Wish Upon a Coin”. Jeff and I have already had a preview of the pre-show (with the film “Perfect Picnic”) and a first illusion that is shown – I can’t wait to experience the rest in just two months! The Chinese Theater is still so familiar inside.
The “Wish Upon a Coin” poster was unveiled during the New Year’s Eve Live Stream.
From the Disney Parks Blog: At Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, the park’s Chinese Theater serves as the magic portal through which you can actually step into a colorful cartoon world where anything can happen. Why? Because here, mouse rules apply! On this zany, one-of-kind adventure, expect the unexpected as you ride through the NEW Mickey Mouse cartoon “Perfect Picnic”!
As you make your way to the “premiere” of “Perfect Picnic” in the attraction, you’ll move through the theater’s lobby and see whimsical posters of existing award-winning Mickey cartoon shorts created specifically for the attraction by Walt Disney Imagineering and Disney Television Animation.
Disney will be releasing more exclusive poster art in the coming weeks. Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway will be a terrific addition to Disney’s Hollywood Studios on March 4th, 2020 and is scheduled to open in Disneyland sometime in 2022!
