Hi everyone –
One of the many distanced character experiences/meet and greets at Walt Disney World currently is Alice in the United Kingdom gazebo! Mary Poppins also greets guests here (from a distance) but we haven’t seen her yet. And Joy and Pooh are near the Imagination pavilion, in addition to the three cavalcades that circle World Showcase. Here are some photos and video from yesterday!
Here is our video followed by photos.
Alice normally would greet guests in front of the pavilion (while Mary Poppins did greet guests closer to this location in the back of the pavilion). Now, Alice is talking with guests and posing for photos while in an area that usually has been used for bands.
With the parks at a smaller capacity, there weren’t a lot of guests back here when we stopped by.
Alice also had a watering can to water plants.
As we left, she looked like she was about to pour some tea.
The United Kingdom pavilion is not fully open right now – the Sportsman’s Shoppe (in view) is currently closed but the Tea Caddy and other stores are open for guests to shop in.
It was nice to see Alice in the gazebo, and hopefully Monday we will catch Mary Poppins as we make our way around World Showcase for more of A Taste of the Epcot Food & Wine Festival.
