Walt Disney World Halloween 2020 has been underway at the Magic Kingdom for several days and we’ve been posting articles and videos since it kicked off on September 15th. With Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party canceled for this year, Disney has done a great job with the Halloween offerings. We arrived on the 15th first thing in the morning and saw our first Halloween characters before the park officially opened. We have photos and video of Mickey & friends today on the Main Street Train Station!
Mickey and Minnie were in fun Halloween costumes to welcome guests to the park. Prior to Halloween, they were in their regular outfits. And in the past few days, they’ve been swapping out from these costumes and their Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party costumes. We will be there on Sunday for the Cadaver Dans and will check out whatever is new to us since the first day.
Here is our video followed by more photos.
The costumes and characters are part of the Mickey & Friends Halloween Cavalcade.
We have seen Pluto in his lion costume before.
There are other performers who are part of the cavalcade and welcome, including grave diggers.
There are other performers on the other side of the train station, including a pirate.
And there are two Sugar Rush racers as well as part of the welcome and cavalcade. Donald and Daisy Duck are also on the cavalcade float.
The train station allows for nice photos, socially distanced. There are no up-close meet and greets right now.
He also pretended to be Frankenstein.
And threw the cape over his head.
Pluto, Mickey and Minnie greet guests. They were up there again later, and the princesses also were on the train station during the day.
This is my favorite photo from the train station that day.
Mickey hid from Minnie behind his cape.
And did a Frankenstein type move as well.
And then is back to himself.
It was a fun set of photos.
Daisy was in a witch outfit with the other Sugar Rush racer. It was nice to have Daisy dress as a witch this time instead of Minnie!
Here is our video of the characters and performers as part of the cavalcade, one of several in the Magic Kingdom.
We will have much more from Halloween in the coming days, along with a roundup early next week with all of our articles and videos listed.
