“Early Theme Park Entry” Announced for Later 2021 at Walt Disney World, Replacing Extra Magic Hours

Hi everyone –

Disney has announced “Early Theme Park Entry” for guests staying at Walt Disney World resorts and other select hotels in later 2021 as part of the 50th anniversary celebration, allowing for 30 minutes early entry into any theme park every day. Extra Magic Hours was suspended when Walt Disney World reopened last summer and Disney says of it, as we continue to manage attendance with health and safety top of mind, Extra Magic Hours will not return.

Disney continues about Early Theme Park Entry, We know how much guests enjoy extra park time, so coming later this year as part of our 50th anniversary celebration, Disney Resort hotel guests and guests of other select hotels will be able to enjoy more fun with 30-minute early entry to ANY theme park, EVERY day.

It is a nice benefit for guests staying onsite to have early entry again to the theme parks later this year.

Guests do need valid admission and a park reservation made through the Disney Park Pass system to enter a theme park.

Disney also announced that Disney’s Magical Express motorcoach service will end after 2021. Read more here.
