Takumi-Tei at EPCOT Offering Whisky Blending Event with Five-Course Meal November 26th-27th, 2021

Hi everyone!

Takumi-Tei at EPCOT will be holding a special Kaiyo Whisky Blending Event with a five-course special meal on Friday, November 26th and Saturday November 27th at 2:00 p.m. The restaurant has been closed since March 2020 and will not be reopening at this time, but this is a special opportunity to enjoy the intimate restaurant which opened to excellent reviews in summer 2019. The cost for this event is $275.00 plus tax and gratuity. Read below for more information!

Takumi-Tei is in the Japan pavilion of EPCOT. The restaurant says of the Kaiyo Whisky Blending Event 2021, “Join us at Takumi-Tei in EPCOT’s Japan pavilion for a full sensory experience with Kaiyo Whisky’s Master Blender, Mr. Jeffrey Karlovitch!”

The event will begin with a 40-minute seminar on the history of Japanese whisky. Guests then participate in an “interactive and delicious blending process to create your own customized whisky”.

Takumi-Tei says, “After the blending, our chef has prepared an exclusive five-course menu inspired by pairings with specific Kaiyo whisky blends that highlight the flavors of each course.”

Resevations probably won’t last long. The experience can be booked here while they last.

Remember that admission to EPCOT and a reservation to the park will be needed.

It is wonderful to see Takumi-Tei holding an event and I hope that means a reopening will be planned for the near future.
