The EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival is less than a week away, kicking off on March 2nd, 2022 – and more topiaries have been added almost every day over the past week. We have posted two articles featuring topiaries as they’ve been placed, and I have more pictures from the past few days (including this morning).
Mickey, Minnie, Daisy, Donald and Huey, Dewey and Louie are in one flower bed.
On the other side, decorative flowers that look like they have the “Earidescent” colors to them.
The main flower quilt has grown in beautifully over the last couple of weeks.
There will be different seasonal plants eventually (switched probably twice over the 4 month festival).
The two Mickey topiaries face each other from afar, as Sorcerer Mickey takes center stage at the entrance to World Showcase among broomsticks and other characters from Fantasia.
Sorcerer Mickey holds a conductor’s baton.
The ostriches are on this side.
Sorcerer Mickey’s hat lights up. In the distance is the topiary display with Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Daisy.
Characters from “The Lion King” are back where they had been near the Imagination pavilion.
Simba is held up by Rafiki.
Mufasa and Nala flank them.
Mufasa received a new look last year with a mane.
Timon and Pumbaa are nearby in another planter.
The Imagination pavilion can be seen in the background.
Figment has returned as well.
Woody, Bo Peep and her sheep are at ground level this year close to The Land pavilion.
Bo Peep and her sheep debuted in 2019 for “Toy Story 4”.
The butterfly at the International Gateway is very colorful now.
In Italy, Lady and the Tramp have been brought into the pavilion near the restaurants.
Lady has less fluffy ears this year.
Flower towers are being added around EPCOT.
Miss Piggy and Kermit are near the Germany pavilion restrooms.
The Three Cabelleros are back near the Mexico pavilion.
In the Mexico pavilion, the orchid display is back and more orchids are at guest level.
And Buzz Lightyear is near Mission: Space.
I will be back at EPCOT on Monday and will post more from the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival preparations. The EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival runs from March 2nd – July 4th, 2022!
