Room Tour: Disney’s Sequoia Lodge Golden Forest Club Room at Disneyland Paris From March 2022

Hi everyone!

Our friends Tom and Cindy booked the Golden Forest Club at Disney’s Sequoia Lodge in Disneyland Paris, and paid for us to be part of the reservation. I posted about the Golden Forest Club Breakfast and Tea Time in a different article and will also post an overall article soon. I wanted to also share a look at the room today. I haven’t stayed at Disney’s Sequoia Lodge since 2002, although I have visited friends in recent years when they booked a trip to the resort.

We have visited Disneyland Paris pretty often since 2014, with a total of almost six weeks since June 2021 and are familiar with the resorts. Disney’s Sequoia Lodge is one of my favorites due to the similarity to Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, they are both themed to turn-of-the-20th century American National Park lodges although they are quite different as well. Currently, the pool is closed through sometime this summer.

The Golden Forest Club rooms are on floors 5, 6 and 7 in the main building.

I am sharing room #5290.

First, here is our video and then photos.

There are 2 double beds in the room and it looks like from reading online that the rooms are 27 square meters, or about 290 square feet. For comparison, Disney’s Wilderness Lodge rooms are about 340 square feet (European hotel rooms tend to be smaller).

The view out the window is a woodsy one.

The decorative border on the wall is “Bambi” themed.

The characters are Flower, Bambi and Thumper.

There is artwork on the wall from “Bambi”.

A Bambi postcard sat by the phone.

Next to the television are coffee and tea makers. I am not sure if either is included with the standard room.

Two glasses and an ice bucket sat on a table.

The privacy hangar features Bambi.

There is a mini-fridge.

The bathroom includes an old style hair dryer.

There is a shower and tub.

H20 products are currently in single bottles here.

And the toilet.

We were at the end of the trip, but did spend a little time walking around and also went to the Redwood Bar, which will be another article.

I don’t even remember seeing these beaver figures outside before, they are very cute!

I mentioned that the pool at Disney’s Sequoia Lodge is closed through summer, so if that is important to you, then I would recommend Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel or Disney’s Newport Bay Hotel (the other two Disneyland Paris hotels with a pool right now). We stayed at Disney’s Newport Bay Hotel for 2 nights as well this past trip (invited for a media event), and it was quite comfortable. But the rooms at Disney’s Sequoia Lodge, although not as recently renovated, are nice and I especially recommend the resort around the holiday season. Tom and Cindy got a great price for the Golden Forest Club room for one night and we definitely will consider it in the future for a night or two add-on to our trips.

(The Disneyland Hotel is currently closed for a princess retheme and major renovation with no announced opening date yet.)
