New “Avengers: Power the Night” Marvel Drone Show Coming to Disneyland Paris in Early 2023

Hi everyone!

“Avengers: Power the Night” is a new nighttime Marvel drone show coming to Disneyland Paris from January 28th – May 8th, 2023! The show is created in partnership with Bordeaux-based company Dronisos.  “Avengers: Power the Night” will take place in Walt Disney Studios Park and will include up to 500 drones creating images in the sky with projections on the Tower of Terror. Producer Ben Spalding (who produced the “Disney D-Light” drone show at Disneyland Park) and director Arnaud Feredj talk about the show in the video below.

This will be the first Marvel drone show performed daily in a Disney park! This is part of the Grand Finale for the 30th Anniversary of Disneyland Paris.

The pair talk about how the show will combine drones and pyrotechnics. There are more than 30 people creating “Avengers: Power the Night”! Feredj says that “This show will offer a completely unique take on our iconic Marvel characters, including Doctor Strange, Hulk and Captain America, who will be directly projected onto the Tower of Terror.” And those projections will be combined with drones and pyrotechnics – with up to 500 drones creating images in the sky!

Spalding says that “It was a really big challenge for us to make a show that has never been done before, so we had to make it to work on the Tower of Terror.” He also said that all this work had to be done in secret, at night when everybody is sleeping.

The music for the show was created at Abbey Road Studios with a symphony orchestra composed of more than 70 musicians. Music from Marvel films will be reorchestrated for the show.

From Disneyland Paris:
