EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival 2025 Takes Shape with Topiaries, Flower Beds

Hi everyone!

The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival 2025 is taking shape with topiaries and flower beds as the March 5th, 2025 opening date draws closer. We have photos to share from two EPCOT visits, including yesterday.

The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival is my favorite time of year to visit the park, with stunning topiaries, beautiful flowers and more.

Here is a look at what we have found up until yesterday!

The young Groot topiary display moved from its location last year. Groot stands high in this lush garden.

Groot holds his “Green-House Mix Vol. 1” mix tape. He isn’t too far from the newest EPCOT attraction, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.

Festive flower decor can be seen in World Celebration.

Phineas and Ferb are back after a lengthy absence. They first debuted for the 2012 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival and they haven’t changed much since then.

Phineas holds his finger up.

The location they are in is new for the duo. Spaceship Earth can be seen in the background in this photo.

The Imagination pavilion can be seen behind Phineas here.

The flower quilts have been growing in beautifully. They used to have Mickey heads in them, but don’t this year (and I don’t think last year either).

The quilt patterns include flowers and butterflies.

The sun finally came out yesterday for a couple more quilt photos.

The Bambi grouping is on the way to the Canada pavilion.

Bambi received a newer look in the last few years. The Bambi topiaries have been displayed for many years. They not only have been at the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, but used to be on display during the holidays.

Flower and Thumper are nearby.

Here is a look from this side, with the Canada pavilion in view.

The Shakespeare Garden is being created, with William Shakespeare already in the center.

Behind the United Kingdom pavilion, there are topiaries again of Mickey Mouse and an elephant.

The topiaries are how they used to all look, made from living plants only.

The elephant is in the other flower bed.

This is the view from the back.

The English Tea Garden is also looking extra beautiful.

Tinker Bell is across the walkway.

Tinker Bell received a new look back in 2020, much more lifelike. She stands on a rock in her Fairy Garden.

Her wings have a beautiful, ornate design.

There are fun fairy houses to look at.

The large Tabebuia tree is flowering and looks gorgeous in World Showcase.

The Morocco spice balls have returned.

In the China pavilion, pandas frolic playfully.

These topiaries used to be up against Nine Dragons, but were moved here a few years back and are a much better fit.

One of the pandas is on its back.

The other pandas are sitting upright.

Elsa and Anna from Frozen are in Norway. We posted an article yesterday talking about Elsa’s new cape. They debuted 10 years ago in topiary form!

Elsa uses her powers.

The blue cape has snowflakes on it.

The topiaries have changed some over the years. For example, years ago their arms were made of plants. Now, Anna has a blue shirt and Elsa white sleeves.

Here is our video of the Frozen topiary display.

Snowflakes are across the walkway.

The Troll is also back in the pavilion!

He has undergone changes as well through the years.

From the back, you can see his tail.

Miguel and Dante make their second EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival appearance in the Mexico pavilion.

Miguel holds his guitar, and they are surrounded by marigolds.

Spaceship Earth can be seen in the distance.

Miguel’s coat is made of red flowers, as is the brim of his hat. These should look even more red as the festival progresses.

Dante is very colorful, with his green tongue hanging out of his mouth.

We will be posting much more of the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival as the date approaches, and after it opens in just a couple of weeks.

The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival runs from March 5th to June 2nd, 2025. We do recommend our travel sponsor Mouse Fan Travel to book your Disney vacation!
