Disney’s Port Orleans Resort Mardi Gras Parade 2025 Photos & Video

Hi everyone!

Disney’s Port Orleans Resort celebrated Mardi Gras in style today (as always), with a Mardi Gras Parade that featured Pargo carts decorated by Cast Members. Some also dressed up as various Disney characters as part of the theme. This was by far the busiest we’ve ever seen the event!

Here is our video first, followed by some photos. We were at Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter for the parade. We have been posting Disney’s Port Orleans Resort Mardi Gras Parade since 2012, except for last year when we were out of town.

There was a banner welcoming guests to Disney’s Port Orleans Resort Mardi Gras Celebration.

A sign let guests know that the Mardi Gras Pargo Parade was being held between 10:00 and 11:00 a.m. The parade was slower to arrive to Port Orleans French Quarter from Riverside, so it actually started rolling through around 11:00. Once done, there was judging.

Walt Disney World Ambassadors Serena Arvizu and Shannon Smith-Conrad helped lead the way, along with a band.

A Cast Member was dressed like Louis the Alligator.

Princess Tiana was brought in a horse-drawn carriage, as she has been for years.

The cart featured Mama Odie and Ray.

Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen as frogs were on the back.

The ‘Aladdin’ section featured Aladdin, Genie, the Magic Carpet and more.

Engineering Cast Members created this cool design.

Cast Members handed out beads and candy.

One of my favorites was an Electric Mayhem themed cart.

Animal was on the back with drums!

A ‘Coco’ themed cart featured Miguel.

Thee was also an ofrenda, including Walt.

An ‘Encanto’ cart featured Cast dressed as the characters (or in similar clothing).

The cart said “Encanto” on the front.

A ‘Moana’ themed cart featured Pua.

The Port Orleans Riverside front office designed the cart.

The “A Goofy Movie’ cart was a lot of fun as well.

The talented Cast Members always do such a fantastic job of designing the Pargo carts for Mardi Gras!
