Walt Disney World Swan Reserve to Now Open in Late September 2021

The Walt Disney World Swan Reserve is now scheduled to open in late September 2021 instead of the anticipated September 1st date originally announced. The resort made a statement today:
We are excited to announce the Walt Disney World Swan Reserve is scheduled to open in late September. After years in the making, we are thrilled to be nearing the reveal of this spectacular new option for our guests. Construction delays have shifted the opening from our original target date and any guests with reservations impacted by this delay will receive communication directly from the hotel for alternative accommodations within our resort complex. More details on the opening will be shared as they become available.
The Walt Disney World Swan Reserve is part of the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin complex. The 14-story hotel will feature 349 rooms and suites. The rooms will bring the total for all three hotels to over 2600.
The new opening date will have the Walt Disney World Swan Reserve open in time for The World’s Most Magical Celebration celebration for Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary (kicking off October 1st, 2021).
