Disneyland Resort Monorail Returning October 15th, 2021

Hi everyone!

The Disney Parks Blog announced today that the Disneyland Resort monorail would be returning tomorrow, October 15th. We saw the monorail testing around Disneyland and Disney California Adventure last month and it is great to see it coming back into service!

The Disneyland monorail first debuted in 1959, over 60 years ago.

There are two locations to board the Disneyland monorail – the first is in Tomorrowland, and the second is in Downtown Disney. If there isn’t much of a line to get into the Downtown Disney station, it is a nice way to get into the heart of the park quickly! You do need your theme park ticket and reservation to enter.

I look forward to riding again during our next Disneyland trip!

And don’t forget – a face covering will be required to ride this attraction, since it is an enclosed vehicle.
