A Look at Magic Kingdom Holiday Decorations for 2022, Including Christmas Tree

Hi everyone!

I went to the Magic Kingdom yesterday and discovered the Christmas tree was placed, as well as the toy soldiers and other decor that hadn’t been out on November 1st (our first Magic Kingdom holiday decoration article is here). Holiday music was also playing. Here is a look at my photos from yesterday!

Toy soldiers are back in Town Square, setting the festive tone.

The Christmas tree and Cinderella Castle are seen in the background.

The Magic Kingdom Christmas tree decorations are mostly gold for the 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World.

Decor includes candles, gingerbread men, and assorted ornaments.

Underneath the tree are a variety of toys represented, including a doll and toy soldiers.

A bike, jack and bear are included.

A train saying Carolwood Pacific is also under the tree.

Garland swags line the Main Street Confectionery.

Swags also are also outside the Main Street Emporium and down Main Street along the shops.

Wreaths and more decor are in view while looking toward Cinderella Castle. There are no Dreamlights again on the castle this year.

These wreaths line each side of Main Street.

The Main Street Confectionery had Halloween signage inside on November 1st.

Now, the shop is ready for the holiday season.

The Main Street Emporium windows now have Mickey and Pluto for the holidays.

It was 53 days until Christmas.

A Mickey wreath features red and white decorations like peppermints and Santa Claus.

Small Christmas trees can be found here next to City Hall.

The Jingle Cruise also began. At some point we will post my video, but Jeff had a family emergency so it may be a day or two.

Garland and a wreath can be seen on the way out of the Magic Kingdom.

It’s hard to believe that Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is just days away – the first party is on November 8th, 2022! We will be sharing photos and video from the first two party nights and will have much more from the holiday season at Walt Disney World in the coming days and weeks.
